I'll admit up front I shoot Canon and would never switch. Why You May I ask you to shoot with a Canon? Well to be honest the reason was because I had a Canon film body and a pair of lenses that are over 20 years, so when I went to Wedding Photography I stuck with what I knew. I was happy with what I had and I saw no reason to change when I moved into more specialist areas.
But if you're just starting out and have a real advantage for a particular brand or a serious amount of money tied up in a particular brand, then you'll probably be asking this very question.
Well, my answer is actually very short. Any reputable DSLR brands will serve you well. Do not try to shoot weddings with nothing less than a DSLR, please. Do not be influenced by friends recommendation or opinion of someone you think knows about photography which camera to buy. Play with them and see if they fit well in your hand and easy to use. This is a big investment, so take your time and maybe come back and try some again. This is a very personal choice, so that is why there is no one answer. The camera has become part of you and what you have to use instinct, so comfortable you'll find it, you'll find it easier to use.
Although it is very important to have good quality equipment for shooting a wedding, your eye and artistic ability are more important.then brand camera. While you can get away with mid-range quality headphones, the difference between them and the higher end DSLR is noticeable. Would you like to appear as a professional, so that in every aspect of your job.
